Terrific food, beautifully presented. Staff was somewhat reserved/subdued, and restricted their service, once we'd ordered, to delivering the food and clearing the table after we'd gone. If I'd known that, I'd have been somewhat less generous with the tip when I paid. To be clear: the service wasn't bad, it was just very limited. The food was exceptional. I had the salmon salad, and shared kale chips with friends. Also had the delicious Quarantea (mostly because I like a good pun; not usually a tea drinker, but this was very satisfying). We also had a selection of their desserts: all were interesting, but there was only one that I'd order again. Beautiful, light-filled space, with outdoor and indoor seating. A selection of ingredients and books are available to purchase, and they seem to do a brisk take-out business. Would definitely visit again when I am back in town.

Nice bright atmosphere - hip bakery feel with lots of natural light. I had the Turkish eggs. Great Mediterranean inspired flavor went well with eggs, cream and cheese with bread. I'm curious to try other breakfast items on the menu

The coffee was delicious, the food was yummy, but the real showstopper was the dessert case. We brought home several treats to share and couldn't get enough. Can't wait to come back and try something else!

Yup. Enough said right? Such a fun spot with outstanding service and I would argue the coffee is a close second. With so many food options to pick from, you won't have a choice but to stop in again and grab a new pastry or menu item.

I love going here for their desserts! They are beautiful and delicious. Almost too pretty to eat! They also have a ton of vegan desserts for those who are looking for that option. It's a big open space with lots of natural light. They also have a great brunch menu. I would say the only negative is sometimes it's hard to find parking but other than that it's amazing!

I don't live in KC anymore but wish this place was around when I did. You order at the counter and they bring your food. It's a great menu from breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, soups and salads to bowls. Everything looked so delicious it was hard to decide what to get. The gal recommended the bagel with lox and it did not disappoint. The pastries and desserts looked so decadent so I had to try the cilantro lime cookie - yummy! Crispy on the outside and chewy / soft in the middle. They also offer cooking classes as well! I'll definitely be back when I visit KC again

Stopped in for a quick treat and got this apple cinnamon roll. It was delicious and can't believe it was gluten free.

The atmosphere is something here. They have a varieties of gluten free pastries here. I'd love to try their pastries in future visits. This is my second visit in a month & I tried their Grilled Chicken and lemon Gremolata sando with sweet potato fries. Food was very good. Coffee was okay not great though. This place is always packed & you can also park the car at Costco parking nearby if you don't find parking at this place.

Wow! A million times yes will I be back! I had so many people recommend this spot to me for a quick bite or a stop on lunch break. I finally took the opportunity to visit with my grandparents and I was astonished with everything about this local business. The building is stunning, old brick, classic to KC and the surrounding scenery. The inside is clean, white, boho, and airy. I love the combined modern and rustic vibe the place brings into one. The menu is truly delectable - your favorites, just elevated. I had a Reuben, and it was the best Reuben I have had! The pickled toppings stood out in the best way, making the sandwich one to remember. Note that when something says it is spicy, it is SPICY! I was also beyond pleased with the dessert case. I truly wanted one of everything, but wasn't disappointed with our choices. Will have to be back to slowly try one of each!! Last but not least, the service was phenomenal for the store setting. Upon arrival, you can pick up a menu located throughout the store, and order at the counter. You will get a table number where you can find open seating. We had a few questions and waved an employee down who helped answer every question and interest we had. A remarkable and must see spot in KC!
